HCFA designed the Medicare Secondary Payer Screening Form so that healthcare institutions would not bill Medicare if there were an insurance / secondary payer available which should be billed first.

The standard HCFA form is a four page series of questions that is complex, confusing and difficult-to-use.

Our product has taken the MSP form and made it efficient, logical and easy-to-use.

Once the Admitting staff has answered the MSP questions (during the Admissions process) they can print out the MSP form at the same time that they print the regular Admissions FaceSheet.

The product consists of: Customer Defined Dictionaries, Queries and Screens to collect the MSP information. The MSP form can be printed via normal MEDITECH Admitting Forms print routines.
